The Scrambler has the DVB Simul-crypt Module that facilitates the movement of the control data and encryption codes between the Universal Scrambling Module and the CAS.Ĥ. The Scrambler facilitates the insertion and transmission of the information related to the scrambling process such as Entitlement Control Messages (ECM), Entitlement Management Messages (EMM), the Control Words, the Operational Keys and other Secret Keys to be used for the descrambling at the subscribers set top box.ģ. The Scrambler unit has the Universal Scrambling Module that scrambles specific program using the Common Scrambling Algorithm.Ģ.
